Meet our Founder

Indra Cantillo Mejuto is the founding attorney of Indra Law Firm, P.A., where she combines over a decade of international legal experience guiding and advising clients through complex business matters.
Indra began her career as a government legal advisor, focusing on international transactions, contracts, and trade relations. In that role, she facilitated collaborations with U.S. and international organizations—including Cargill, Marriott, WeWork, Engage Cuba, the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, and the D.C. Department of Small and Local Business Development—on matters of investment, trade policy, and compliance. She also played a key role in reforming Cuba’s Foreign Investment Law in 2014 and was part of the team that oversaw major cross-border initiatives, including the $957 million Mariel Special Economic Development Zone joint venture between Cuba and Brazil.
